ESAAL'S SMALL GROUP CASE MANAGEMENT WEBINAR IS DESIGNED JUST FOR THEM! 

*NEW* for this round, the training will be presented in 3 LIVE chat-room style sessions! Each 2-hour session is designed not only for Case Managers, but all your supervisory, management level staff that are new to assisted living and would benefit from a comprehensive overview of ACF/ALR regulations and operations.

We are offering 2 different tracks for different types of providers: Non-ALP ACFs & ALRs; and the Medicaid-funded Assisted Living Program (ALP). 

This training is open to ESAAL Members & Non-Members and is designed to help providers that are new to Assisted Living.

This SMALL GROUP training will allow for a more personalized training session with plenty of time for questions & interaction!

Lisa Newcomb, Executive Director, ESAAL & Hinman Straub will present topics including:

  • Waivers & equivalencies
  • Admission/retention processes and decisions
  • Termination of Residency/Admission Agreements
  • Things to consider during resident transfer process
  • Resident supervision – incident reporting

The Case Management Training consists of 3 live sessions: 2 with Lisa Newcomb & 1 with Raeanne McLaughlin from Hinman Straub.  The 2-hour live sessions will be conducted in a virtual meeting room style to easily allow for collaboration and Q & A.

Fall 2026 Dates

Track 1 Non-ALP Live Sessions: Tues 11/3, Tues 11/10, & Tues 11/17

Track 2 ALP Live Sessions: Tues 11/24, Tues 12/1, & Tues 12/8

Time: All live sessions will be held 11:00am-1:00pm

CEU's: 6 CEU's will be awarded to full attendance of live sessions & verification of viewing the recorded session. Partial attendance will result in partial CEU credit(s). 

Cost: $225 ESAAL Members; $450 Non-Members

It is important that you know going into the training whether your ACF’s base license is adult home or enriched housing program.  If you do not know, please ask your administrator or look at the ACF’s posted operating certificate which will indicate either adult home or enriched housing program.
